Biography:
Sara, born 1998 in Mexico, is an International Arbitration Associate with a particular focus on investment and commercial arbitration for clients particularly in Europe and Latin America.
She received her legal education in Mexico and is admitted as an attorney-at-law in Mexico. During her legal career, she lived in Mexico, USA and Germany. She currently lives in Berlin.

Current focus:
- International arbitration in LatAm–MENA disputes, with a focus on energy and infrastructure projects, including energy transition, digitalisation of energy systems, regulatory aspects of energy storage, and cybersecurity risks in cross-border contracts
- “Minimal arbitration”: efficiency-driven dispute resolution through radically reduced procedural complexity
- Cross-border commercial disputes, with particular attention to digital risks, cybersecurity, and technology-related contractual frameworks
- Cultural and commercial influences in international dispute resolution, including the role of parties’ backgrounds in the application and interpretation of law
